Job Description
SMA Engineering & Services is currently looking for a qualified Quantity Surveyor. The ideal candidate will hold a Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Civil Engineering and possess 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in building construction, particularly with a focus on government projects from the contractor’s viewpoint.
The primary responsibilities for this position include:
- Preparing comprehensive cost estimates and Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
- Submitting Interim Payment Certificates (IPCs).
- Developing Variation Orders (VOs) and Bar Bending Schedules (BBS).
- Conducting quantity verification and site measurements.
- Collaborating with site and technical teams.
Essential skills include proficiency in MS Excel and AutoCAD, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
