Job Description

We are seeking a WHONET Data Specialist to manage and analyze microbiology and antimicrobial resistance (AMR) data using WHONET software. The role requires ensuring data quality, standardizing inputs, validating entries, and maintaining the surveillance database. You will produce routine reports, dashboards, and summaries to inform public health decision-making.

• Responsibilities: data entry and validation, database maintenance, dashboard/report generation, training laboratory personnel on WHONET, and collaboration with epidemiologists and stakeholders.
• Qualifications: bachelor’s degree in microbiology, public health, or a related field; experience with WHONET and AMR datasets; strong data-cleaning and Excel skills; attention to detail and clear communication. Experience with SQL or R is a plus.
